I really don’t want this blog to be about me, but considering it’s a personal blog that would be sort of a non-starter. I suppose what I’m trying to say is that I want this blog to be a resource for other people doing business online. It’s also about a particular method that I personally use to earn an income and build my business. This blog is named after that method: “Niche Blaster”. There isn’t a whole lot that you need to know about me. I worked as a software developer for about 23 years prior to leaving the workforce for good in 2007 to pursue Internet marketing full time. My wife and I live very modestly and believe in traveling light through life. No expensive cars, big houses, or bling desired or required. The income I earn from doing affiliate marketing is more than enough to support our lifestyle. I certainly don’t begrudge anyone who wants to live a more lavish lifestyle and I think anything is certainly possible when you’re working for yourself.
My focus has always been on PPC and SEO. I like to reap the benefits of both worlds, though it does spread me pretty thin at times. There are still a lot of things I need to learn and other things that I need to explore more fully. That’s why I hope that by maintaining this blog, I can stay on task, and with your participation, make this a useful resource for all concerned.
